SoCrispies, finalist for ‘Best Dairy Ingredients’ at World Dairy Innovation Awards 2020

French dairy ingredients expert, Epi Ingredients, is pleased to announce that SoCrispies has been selected as one of the finalists for ‘Best Dairy Ingredients’ in FoodBev’s World Dairy Innovation Awards.

SoCrispies is indeed a revolutionary ingredient that reinvents the way to consume dairy and more specifically, dairy proteins. This extremely versatile crispy protein puff was co-developed with a company specialised in the extrusion process and is obtained through a patent-pending technology from 100% dairy protein. It is clean-label, and, thanks to a neutral flavor, it can be used in a variety of applications packing in both the crunch and the protein content!

The award judges were looking for innovative ingredients and products that not only provided strong consumer benefits such as nutrition, convenience, pleasure, versatility and more but also demonstrated being developed with sustainability in mind; and SoCrispies delivers on all accounts. With a combination of nutrition, functionality and versatility, these protein crisps will allow brands to wow consumers with new protein-fortified products offering an elevated sensory experience and a high protein content all in one.

In addition, as a division of French dairy cooperative Laïta, Epi Ingredients is part of corporate initiative ‘Passion du Lait’ (Passion for Milk), a progress-driven approach setting specific goals aimed at improving the company’s overall operations in several key areas of sustainable development.
